Demi Moore Launches Campaign Against Child Exploitation
Actress Demi Moore and her husband, actor Ashton Kutcher, launched this Thursday, April 23, the campaign “Real Men”, which aims to combat child sexual exploitation.
The couple is cofounder of Demi & Ashton Foundation or DNA. “There is more slavery in the world today than ever before,” said Kutcher. “There’s like living in a world where this is happening without doing anything about it,” he added. A major focus of the campaign is the child sex trafficking over the Internet.
The foundation has close partnerships with major search engines and relationships, such as Google and Facebook, to strengthen the ability of these companies, creating new technologies that can prevent the rise of this crime. Read the rest of this entry »
